I am Jan Michael Ibañez, a college student. I guess I can never fully define who I am. At times I'm a lazy bum, never thinking of doing anything. Sometimes however, I can't stop working on various stuff. I'm a recovering procrastinator, having breezed through high school by cramming on projects and tests. I can get highly opinionated on various issues, but sometimes I just don't give a damn.
I got introduced to computers when I was in Grade 4 (or was it Grade 3?). My dad brought home an XT clone. The moment he set it up I knew that this greyish-beige metal box was going to change my outlook in life.
I'm a self-confessed computer geek. I've learned things an ordinary computer user wouldn't care to know. I've learned about computer interrupts, device drivers, BASIC, C, pointer arithmetic— sometimes I wonder how I keep myself interested.
However, that doesn't mean I don't like going out. Although I'd rather read a good book, I do enjoy going out with my friends and my family.
I'm also a talkative person, known for monopolizing conversations ranging from the mundane to the philosophical, yet sometimes I prefer to listen.
Stubborn & tenacious, tactless yet sensitive, mundane yet a dreamer. I'm a whole slew of opposites that sometimes I think I'm the epitome of the Gemini.
Whatever I am, whoever I am— there will only be one me.
